Salzburg-Grodig bus information

Bus line number 25 from Salzburg to Grodig and back

From Salzburg you can reach Grödig easily by public transport.

To get from the main train station in Salzburg, take the number 25 bus to the Grödig - Zentrum stop.  The bus stop is located near the Grödig post office, the pharmacy and the Sparkasse bank.  

The ride takes about 35 minutes.

The bus number 25 leaves every 20 minutes from the town centre and back to Grodig (price approx. Euro 2,40 per person).

The first number 25 bus of the day runs at 6:00 a.m. in the morning, and the last bus from Salzburg back to Grödig departs at 11 p.m. in the evening.

Take the bus to Salzburg‘s attractions

Bus number 25 will also take you to Salzburg’s historic city center.

Bus number 25 provides an excellent connection between the Sallerhof and all the attractions in and around Salzburg.

The bus stops directly at the Mirabellplatz, and from here you can visit the gardens and the palace.

The bus also stops at Salzburg’s old city-hall (Rathaus), allowing you to walk directly onto the famed Getreidegasse Street. Additional stops along the route include the Hellbrunn Palace, the Hellbrunn Zoo and the base-station for the cable car to the top of the Untersberg mountain.

You could say that the bus is your direct connection between the Sallerhof Hotel and Salzburg’s many attractions !

Getting from the bus stop to the Hotel Sallerhof

Exit the bus at "Grödig - Zentrum" in Grödig. From the station to hotel Sallerho it's only a 5 minute-walk. The last bus leaves Salzburg at 23:00 (11 pm).

Your bus stop in Grödig is called Grödig - Zentrum. From here you walk along the Marktstrasse Street, bearing right onto the street called Hauptstrasse.

Walk as far as the Raiffeisenkasse bank. Immediately opposite the bank is the driveway to our hotel. The entire walk is not more than 8 minutes.
