The historic steam powered cog-railway takes you to the mountain top
Since 1893, the steepest steam powered rack railway in Austria has run from St. Wolfgang up to the Schafberg ("Sheep Mountain").
In 40 minutes you cover 1190 metres of altitude and 5.85 km. These steam engines are some of the oldest in the world.

Even after 100 years this steam locomotive is still extremely popular.
