Salzburg City tour and Salzkammergut tour

Part 1:  Mozart City Tour

The tour begins by the Palace of Mirabell built in the year 1606 for the Archbishop Wolf Dietrich and is today home to the office of the local Mayor and city offices. Then pass the Mozarteum (University of Music) one of the world's most prestigious music academies.

Crossing over the Salzach (Salt) river which was once a major transport route you will have a wonderful view of this magical city.Following the river along part of the old fortifications you will pass the Law Courts on the way to the Hellbrunn Palace where you will have a short photo stop.

Hellbrunn Palace was built at the start of the 17th century to the design of the great architect Santino Solari and used as a hunting lodge and weekend residence by Salzburg's Archbishops.

Part 2:  Lakes and Mountain tour

With this tour we will enchant you with the ‘Land of Music'. Travelling via Hof and Fuschl our first stop will be in St Gilgen before travelling a little further on to St Wolfgang.

here you will find many delights including the local church with its famous winged altar from the 15th century by Michael Pacher and the Hotel White Horse Inn- the setting for the famous operetta ‘Im Weissen Rössl'.
