Grossglockner High Alpine Road motorcycle tour

Salzkammergut lake district motorcycle tour

The road leads you through the Lammertal valley and Gosau to Lake Hallstatt. Hallstatt itself is also worth a visit - the area was declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1997. 

Then you head towards Lake Traunsee by way of Bad Aussee and Bad Ischl (the summer residence of the emperor Franz Josef).

Halfway to Gmunden you turn to Steinbach at Lake Attersee and cruise along Lake Mondsee and Lake Wolfgangsee and finally head back to the Sallerhof through the Salzkammergut lake district.

Rossfeld panoramic road motorcycle tour

From the Hotel Sallerhof in the direction of Hallein and onto Mount  Durrnberg road to the salt mines.

After having visited the salt mines, you drive in the direction of Oberau to the Rossfeld panoramic road. The road has an altitude of about 5,250ft and crosses the border between Austria and Germany.

The Rossfeld panoramic road was planned as part of the German alpine road in the Third Reich. Germany's highest panorama toll road is an unforgettable experience and leads over Oberau to the information center of the steeped in history Eagle's Nest.

Mount Untersberg motorcycle tour

Starting off at the Sallerhof in direction of Berchtesgaden to the Konigsee (Kings Lake). There we suggest the boat trip to Saint Bartholomew.

Then towards Ramsau - Schneizlreuth - Inzell - Ruhpolding - Siegsdorf - Bad Reichenhall - Grossgmain.

A visit to the open-air museum including a ride with the historic museum rail road would be right on the way, before starting back to the Sallerhof on the Untersberg National Park road.
