Salzkammergut Lakes Region Sightseeing Tour
Travelling via Hof and Fuschl our first stop will be in St Gilgen before travelling a little further on to St Wolfgang.
There you will find many delights including the local church with its famous winged altar from the 15th century by Michael Pacher and the Hotel White Horse Inn- the setting for the famous operetta ‘Im Weissen Rössl'.
On the return journey you will pass the picturesque Krottensee and the Castle of Hüttenstein then via the Scharfling pass along the shores of the Mondsee (Moon Lake), passing the town of the same name once famous for its Monastery.
Then continuing back to Salzburg city.
Even Emperor Franz Josef and his family came here for their summer holidays.
Salzburg's prince archbishops held lavish hunting trips in the forests around Fuschl.
Today, the former hunting lodge in Fuschl is home to a luxury hotel.

A journey into the land of operetta - this is one way of describing our trip to the beautiful Salzkammergut lake district.
An unforgettable day in one of the most beautiful areas of Austria.
From May to October we take a boat trip on St. Wolfgang's Lake. During the winter months we take you to the imperial summer resort town of Bad Ischl.
The return journey takes us past the Krottensee to Mondsee where we make a short stop before returning to Salzburg.
We will book your place, and the tour guide make a pick up service from our hotel.
