Salt Mine HalleinFrom the Hotel Sallerhof in the direction of Hallein and onto the Durrnberger mountain road to the salt mines. After having visited the mines, you drive in the direction of Oberau to the Rossfeld panoramic road.
The road has an altitude of about 1.600m and crosses the border between Austria and Germany. The Rossfeld panoramic road was planned as part of the German alpine road in the Third Reich.
Germany's highest panorama toll road is an unforgettable experience and leads over Oberau to the information center of the steeped in history Eagle's Nest.
