A musical insiders’ tip is the organ recital
of the Mozarteum Foundation.
Every Thuesday on midday, there is a free organ recital (duration half an hour) in the big hall of the Mozarteum Foundation in the city center. After this musical enjoyment there is the possibility to visit the “Zauberflötenhäuschen”, a small cabin where W. A. Mozart composed parts of his well-known Magic Flute.
Its the second time the Salzburg Biennale, a festival for new music is taking place in Salzburg.
The works of international and national artists as well are staged, like Friedrich Cerha, Thomas Kessler, Dieter Schnebel or Michael Gielen.
