The city center of Salzburg is know for its small streets and lanes with their special medieval ambiance.
The most famous one is the Getreidegasse (also the birthplace of W.A. Mozart) but also the other lanes are worth seeing.
The Steingasse is one of them, a little lane in the city center, with rich tradition. From August 26-27 it’s the first time there is going to be a feast in this particular street- the Steingassenfest.
The diverse shops (galleries, bookshops, second-hand bookshops, wine shops, coffee shops and other stores) have special offers and of course there are going to be musical and culinary highlights.
For the detailed schedule you can visit the homepage of the city center.
